Bebe Brookman was raised in an artistic home, where she watched her mother paint, always wondering what it was that allowed an artist to express such freedom. She studied Philosophy and Psychology and received her MS in Education. This set her on a path of teaching elementary schoolfor many years.

After her retirement from teaching, Bebe decided to finally try her own hand at painting. Not knowing any formal techniques, she was frustrated to acknowledge that the ‘good’ artists in the class knew and used these skills. Her idea of art as a way of playing and having fun was lost. And again she felt that ‘artists’ knew something magical that she did not know.

After seeing Rassouli’s artworks, she joined Fusionart movement and began to enjoy the amazing journey of the creative process. From then on, her paintings became expressions of inner emotions and creative energy without restrictions or judgment. Bebe’s art is now all about having fun, expressing hidden emotions, enjoying the process and sharing the results!
